1. Our business and structure
Gorilla Move Ltd is a UK-based removals and logistics company, providing local and national
moving services for both private and business clients. We operate mainly across the United
Kingdom, using our own vehicles and trusted subcontractors. Our supply chain includes transport
partners, packaging suppliers, storage facilities, and freelance drivers.
2. Our commitment
We take modern slavery and human trafficking very seriously. We are committed to running our
business responsibly and to ensuring that there is no form of slavery, forced labour or exploitation in
our operations or supply chains. We expect the same standards from everyone we work with,
including suppliers, subcontractors, and business partners.
3. Our policies and procedures
We have internal policies that set out clear standards for fair employment, equal treatment, and
compliance with UK labour law. We do not tolerate any form of abuse or illegal labour practices. All
staff, drivers and contractors are expected to follow these principles. Any concerns can be raised
directly to company management.
4. Due diligence and risk management
We work only with verified suppliers and contractors who can demonstrate legal right to work and
compliance with UK regulations. Before entering into any long-term partnership, we review their
company registration, insurance, and track record. We recognise that parts of the logistics sector
can be vulnerable to labour exploitation, especially where subcontracted work is involved. We try to
reduce that risk by maintaining direct relationships and paying fair, transparent rates.
5. Training and awareness
Our management team and key staff are aware of the risks related to modern slavery. We keep
communication open and make sure that everyone involved in our business understands the
importance of working ethically and responsibly.
6. Future actions
We plan to review our supply chain each year and continue promoting fair working conditions
across all levels of our operations.
